WaveUtil - Wave Shield

by kpwr on Sun Oct 06, 2013 7:29 am

really silly question. I'm getting the classic "SDReader does not name a type" error. I can see the library waveHC.h, but waveUtil.h is nowhere to be found ... sound it show up in one of the library directories (sketch or otherwise) and/or in the list in Import Library?

I'm trying to use the Adafruit Wave Shield.

thanks!!

Make sure you have the library installed in the right location. http://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-all- ... nstall-use

I figured it out (I think) ... here is what happened to me.

WaveHC was installed in the right directory, but there was an extra folder that caused the problem... I'm not sure how it was inserted.

What I had: documents/arduino/Libraries/WaveHC/WaveHC/

What it should have been: documents/arduino/Libraries/WaveHC/

That would do it.

IIRC the WaveHC library bundle contains other information, so you have to select the library folder specifically.
