I would like to be able to drive a variable speed single dc motor using a ppm control signal from an rc receiver (Futaba R2004GF). Is this at all possible with a Motor Shield V2? If not, are there any possible workarounds?
Thanks in advance
Mike

Re: motor shield V2 RC rx input
Not directly from the receiver. But it should be possible using an Arduino to decode the RC signal. There is a pulsein() function in the Arduino language that should be good for that.

Re: motor shield V2 RC rx input
Thanks, that works fine.
I'm very pleased with this board. If I may make a suggestion it would be nice if there was a dedicated input mounted on the board in the next version, as I can imagine this board becoming popular for those wanting a simple and cheap solution to control dc motors via rc without having to build or buy a speed control circuit.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass that along to our product design team.
