No. The pins aren't brought out and it's hard-wired for SPI.

Another forum user has increased the speed of the TFT with the Due. Please see this post:

Thank you very much for the link.
I'll give it a try as soon as I'll get the chance.

Best regards,

I have a capacitive touch shield and hope to have some due's soon. Since Due is 3.3v and (according to the datasheets) the TFT and TOUCH controllers they are both 3.3v too... So I wonder why a level shifter would be neccesary but I can't find the capacitive shield schematics however.

The Shield has 5V pullup resistors on SCL and SDA. Also on the Pin 5 backlight control, if the solder jumper is closed.

So, if it's only a matter of pullups, it should be suffucient to remove those resistors. Due has pulllups to 3v3. If neccessary external pullups could be added externally which is much simpler than inserting a level converter between Due and Shield.

So now are the questions:
Where are those resistors located ?
Would it be possible to cut a trace and connect them to ioref ?

I guess this should be all (See picture...)

I wouldn't cut any traces. Just unsolder those two resistors. If the Due already has pullups, then you don't need to do anything else.
