The title really says it all. I'm new to arduino and pi and finding the richness of the ecolosystem(s) a bit daunting.
I have a B+, an ATmega2560 and a MotorShield 2.3 that I am hoping to get working together, but it just occurred to me that all the examples I've come across have the MotorShield paired up with one of the smaller Arduino boards. Am I off the charts trying to use the ATmega?
Cheers,
Erik

If it is an R3 or later Mega it should work as is. Earlier versions of the Mega will require jumpers for the SCL and SDA signals. Check the shield compatibiity guide in the learning system for details: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-shi ... -shield-v2
