PN532 Remote Measurement

Post by bgb123 »

I'd like to connect a temperature sensor to one of the tags available to work with a PN532 shield.
Is that possible? What section(s) of the PN532 manual (200 pages) would be most informative?
Thanks,
Bruce

It isn't possible with a passive NFC card. Those don't have the power or the hardware to talk to external sensors.

You'd have to design and build an active NFC device. You can use the PN532 to do that, but for that application the relevant parts of the datasheet are basically "all of it".
