Problems with Programming Adruino Uno with Ultimate GPS Logger Shield

Dear Sir madam

I can not seam to get the Shield to run the programmer even with the following the instruction Adafruit Ultimate GPS Logger Shield - Includes GPS Module

However I am get a reading when I flick the switch and it works without the chip

How can I get it run with the chip Please help

Firstly thanks for your quick reply

I would like to give you some background to what I am trying to do

I am trying to Use a GPS and a 9DOF break out board to see what Happens when I drive my cab in the capital of UK

To measure the speed and look at the direction of the yaw

I have come too Arduino late in life also I am a Cab driver

The picture show the Use of a GPS Shield Uno board and a 9 DOF wired up has shown on your web Page with the addition of the shield

The image file I tried to attach were said by your site to be invalid.
Is there an email to send the pictures

make sure your image file is png or jpg. The file should be less than 1MB in size. 800x600 is a good size

I have listen to advice and Resized and will also check the connection with Ohm meter.

The GPS is not an I2C device. It is a serial device. You need to connect to Digital 8 (TX) and Digital 7 (RX) on the GPS Shield.
