I am wondering if the following products are compatible?
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1141
And http://www.omron.com/ecb/products/sensor/11/d6t.html
Thank you!

Re: Data Logging shield for Arduino with omron IR camera
The datasheet for the sensor/camera has practically no information about data transfer, but two of the pins are named SDA and SCL.
That suggests an I2C device, which would be compatible with the Data Logger. You'll need to get more information from Omron though.

Another question- I realize this is unlikly, but can the data logging shield be used on the Espruino 1.4?

The hardware should work, but you'll have to port all the code over to Javascript.
