I have place the Protoshield on my arduino Mega 2560

I have place the 3 pin for the jumper as well (so that i can choose between 5 or 3.3V

But i get the shield not working
on the middle rail (+ and the G) I get no voltage there, also the reset button will not work?

What do i wrong

Hope you understand my bad english

Have you soldered the header pins?

Hello

Did you mean the 3 pins where the jumper is on?

I have not soldered them!

You need to solder all of the pin headers to the proto board.

You don't need to solder the jumper wires.

Hi i have tested with my multimeter
If i place one end in the ground pin (near thr 5.5v) the circuit is closed) (Ok)

if i place the jumper on 5.5v and place one of the wire in 5.5v and the other on the + rail i get no circuit?

I don't have one of these, so I'm not certain, but I don't think the middle rail is connected to anything. You have to jumper it

I have an earlier version of the same board and a jumper was required to power those rails.

You need a jumper between 5V and the rail to get 5V on the rail

Hi if i do exact the same as on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjqLomk ... e=youtu.be
look at 5:44 then i get no beep sound (circuit)

Put one wire of my multimeter on the 5 volt of the jumper and the other rope pin of the multiumeter on the rail +

Not following you. Can you post a picture of the wiring on the proto board?
