Amplifier - Pan feature or volume on seperate channels?

Post by tiw7001 »

Hi all,

I've been looking at the MAX9744 amplifier and wanted to know if there is a way to pan from right to left via digital control?

Or to change the volume of one channel separate from the other?

Finally, how many such amps could I connect to one Arduino?

Many thanks,

Tim

(I'm a total newbie to all of this, so please excuse my ignorance!)

The MAX9744 doesn't support single-channel control. Both inputs are controlled by the same volume register, and there's no internal support for panning.

The MAX9744 has two address pins, so you can connect four of them to an I2C bus.
