Wave shield

Hi I can't get my wave shield to play music. it will do the Open by index and the sd read test but will not plat a wave... I have converted a wav to 16hz 16 bit and mono just like the example. Pics included.

It looks like you might have a couple of cold joints on the jumpers that connect the Arduino's GPIO pins to the signal holes. Try giving those a dab of flux and reheating them.

I have made the repairs, it will still not work. Do you have a known file that works on this shield so i can rule out my conversion.

I have not herd from anyone on what is the next step... please give me some feedback..i have already given up on a xmas display but would like to get it working... note this has been unanswered for a month.
