Boot time

I've completed the second part of the "Build the Box" tutorial, that is I've soldered all components belonging to the audio system. To check if everything works fine so far I've connected the audio jack to the sound input of my TV. I've switched on the box and got a nice "kaching" sound nearly immediately. I get the sound whenever I turn on the box. The tutorial says I should get the sound about three seconds after the box has booted. Is it OK that my machine boots so fast?

ah, i forgot to mention it will be different depending on whether you press the reset button or plug in the power
pressing the reset button it will take a few seconds
if it works, it works, yknow?
