3D Printers for Library and Museums

Post by socialimpact3d »

Libraries and Museums interested in getting 3D printers for makerlabs, makerspaces or programs- check out the MakerLab Club!

The MakerLab Club is an initiative in collaboration with 3D Systems, the Young Adult Library Association and the Association of Science and Technology Centers, with support from Make it at Your Library. You can find more info at: http://yalsa.ala.org/blog/2014/09/30/ap ... d-systems/

The MakerLab Club will help museums and libraries across the country establish 3D makerlabs and programs. The MakerLab Club aims to bring 3D printing and programs to communities around the country, and support a new digital literacy through an integrated ecosystem of hardware, curriculum, training and communities of practice.

Select libraries and museums that apply to the maker lab club will receive 3D printers to run programs trainings and events.
