hey guys,
i'm a new guy here. my name is Pu22L3 and i tend to do a lot of stuff with my nanopad as of late. stuff with ableton, stuff with max, and stuff with PD. i'm trying to go wirless because of all the countless midi controllers. my main question tho would be
could i use the wireless kit so it can make the nano pad wirelss. it seems easy since its just a controller. but since its usb powered, i was wondering if there were any issues in regards to going in and hacking at with the
xbee? so ultimately i am saying is, can i solder off the usb power to the nanopad and connect the xbee to it? sorry to be all noob, but my mama always said closed mouths don't get fed. either way i'll search around on this forum more.
anyway thank you for your time, and i hope to hear from any of you peeps soon.
Pu2

nope you cannot use the xbee to create a wireless USB link
however you CAN make it a wireless MIDI (DIN-5) link

Re: Hi guys Noob Here
did some more research.
so if i were to de solder the usb input off of the nanopad and put a 5din where the old usb was, i could then hook up the xbee and use it like that? just making sure.
again i am a noob but any kind of help helps out...
thanks again!
