Hi,
I have my xbees today set them up as PAN 1234 for the 2 xbees
the baud rate to be at 57600
made a simple arduino code
that will serial.print 789
also set to be the same baudrate as the xbee.
my arduinolilypad gets power for a lithimu 3.7 v
and my xbee too.
on the other side I have the xbee serial adapter
the x-ctu software shows data comming from the xbee but is very slow
the is like few seconds behind.
is there any set up that I am missing in the xbees to have a fast data transfer.
thank you

Re: Xbee slow sending data very slow
thansk for your answer
what values do you recommed for
Changing the Retry Rate
Use ATRR to change the rate from 0 to 6 (default is 0). A higher retry rate such as 6 will provide a more 'rugged' connection but if you prefer to drop packets as long to get better response, set this to 0

thank you.
the serial protocol is a new task for me.
I was trying several setups and set to O works good for now.
do you know of a good documentation for xbees.

thank You.
I notice that.
I google some tutorials,
and found this one to be a great source of xbees topologies ( networking )

Re: Xbee slow sending data very slow
I think that after several day of frustration and more frustration , I was able to figure it out.
I try several xbee tutorials , ( in my case they work then few hrs or mminutes later they did not)
after several google hrs, and find post of how easy the xbees are, ( I did think that they were not)
finaly today a picture on came to my memory.
and decide to try that ... and it works.
Problem.
xbee was slow when work and talk with other xbee.
several packages were lost.
the hardware
I have
1 lilypad
1 lypower
2 lith Bats
1 xbee shield ( http://lilypadxbee.katehartman.com/ ) very poor documentation . and lack of information .
the setup
xbees = panid 2000
xbee1 = my 1234
xbee2= my 5678
the sudo circuit
bat-----lilypowr--------lilypad=xbeelilypad
this did not work well
I add a extra battery to the xbeelilypad and for what ever reason the xbee now works like a dream......
sends data fast, no loosing pkgs.
hope that this will help some one.
and save a lots of time and frustration.
