Kill-A-Watt DC

For all those folks with electric vehicles or high powered RC cars it would be interesting to know if the Kill-A-Watt can be moded to perform its functions on DC power? Perhaps 60-110VDC where typical RC meters don't quite reach and the existing DC watt meters are much more expensive.

First thing would be to find a current transducer that can handle the amps (which are...?)
