Tube doesnt display left hand top vertical bar of 8s

Postby Bosco-Zebra » Wed Dec 09, 2009 9:35 pm

Possibly other parts missing too, I believe the second '8' from the socket is missing entirely, but im not sure what it's supposed to look like so I'm stumped. I've double checked all my soldering and it looks acceptable ( though this is my first go at it, so who knows?)

What do you guys think?

can you take a super clear photo of the bottom of the kit? and the top? it looks like a cold solder joint (or two)

oh hey, this could be important. Is anything meant to go in something labeled "r4"?

These pictures are actually huge. I have no idea if Picasa uploads them huge or if I am linking them wrong or what. Got a good recommendation for a image host that'll let me pop these puppies up in full 5 meg glory?

edit: Ok: Picasa, Flickr, and Photobucket all shrink them to a pathetic small size. Le sigh.

edit-edit: Grammar train wreck.

no i meant for uploading. hrmmm. it should work fine not sure what you're doing to that poor file :D

we know its a hassle but a clear photo will help TONS. otherwise all we can suggest is "resolder the joints" and look for bad ones :(

Yeah, I will keep working on it. I cannot find the requirements of files for this forum so here's the file info. does it look acceptable? (I'm working on getting a friend of mine to host the pics on his personal website so that might work too)

4000 X 3000 is the size.

180 dpi horizonal and vertical resolutions.
24 bit color depth
color is sRGB
size: 4.85 meg

saved as standard JPG.

this all seems pretty reasonable to me. Perhaps I should pursue hosting on me friends site, might be best.
