I decided to reprogram my monochron with the cool xdalichron firmware but find that I get bars across the screen at various times. Only some of the number combination's produce the bars but I didn't want to sit and watch the clock to record which numbers seem to cause the effect.
I decided to try Sevenchron and it works fine, no bars across screen so I conclude it is not my clock electronics but the xdalichron firmware. I don't understand programming enough to debug this and was hoping that someone else had experienced this and fixed it.
I really like the Xdalichron concept and would love to use it but not in its current state.

Some pictures of bars. They seem to be related to certain numbers.
Hope someone has a solution for this.- millray

Re: Bars occur on screen with Xdalichron firmware
After more observations, I have found a pattern to the screen artifacts. It only involves the 10 min numbers and anytime a :1X or :4X is in that position the screen is good. When it is :0X = 2 bars in the middle of the screen, :2X = bar on bottom, :3X = bar on lower middle and :5X = bar on top. The minute numbers, indicated by X don't matter.
I am using US 24hr time and adjusting the contrast has no effect.
