Ice clock socket direction

Hello
Iam new at electronic. When i solder in the socket on to the pcb board, i did not solder to the right direction. Does that matter? I know the chip must insert the right direction according to the silkscreen but does the socket has to install the right direction? cuz it's hard for me to remove all those pin.

Which socket? The DIP socket isn't a problem--just insert the chip correctly. The square socket is a different story--you can only insert the chip one way.
