I've aquired a Gstar GS-15B gps unit which i've been trying to get working with my ice tube clock but to no avail.
Looking at the data sheet, i suspect the unit is blank and has to be programmed to the specific needs of the end user. So thats that out of the equation. Does any one of any other gps unit that will work with the clock, the one in the adafruit stores seems a bit overkill at $60. My clock barely cost that!!

The PMB-248's are only $30 and are expected to be in stock soon: http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=272

Well, its not going to be the '248 - might be another one thats a little more expensive. we can't get the '248s anymore we had a one-time batch. We can't guarantee functionality of our hack with anything other than the GPS's we carry - they can vary a lot!

you can use that but its a bit overkill. we'll have a new compatible GPS module at half the price in a week or so
