Engineers and other electronically minded folks. I'm curious about replacing the back, sides, and top of my ice tube clock with a wooden case. Dangerous or no?
Thanks
joe

Not at all, so long as you make sure the high-voltage supply is protected from busy fingers. Check out our Clocks blog and our forum topic for pictures of adafruit clock mods.

Those look incredible. I have some work to do. I don't think my serious love of hard shaker lines and order is gonna hold a candle.
I didn't think it would be an issue. I'm new to building electronics, but not scientifically uneducated, only careful about my assumptions about valence electrons. Seemed wise to ask some more experienced folks. So thanks a lot for the reply.
Cheers

Hey, the tube is round. It should blend perfectly with a Shaker-style case. Just don't try to turn it down any
