Very well done video. Can I ask what you used to shoot and edit it?

Thank you,

I used Sony HDR-SR12 and used iMovie for editing.

The camera on that machine seems rather poorly positioned in relation to the tape feeders - its spending a hell of a lot of time moving over to it & back....

There is space for an other bulk tape feeder on the other side as well. Then it would take some less time for that feeder. This is a high quality, low rate machine. The chiprate is 1600 chips/hr.

HI Hans,

I am interested in purchasing a M10V and I would like to get some of your comments, since you already own one.

Please PM me, of feel free to email me.

Couple of quick questions though...

1) Is the Z-axis (up / down) driven by stepper, servo or air
2) Is the software easy to use / stable
3) Would you buy again from Mechatronika?
4) Is it really able to perform placement of 201 size components reliably?

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm considering to buy a Mechatronika M10V for small production (10/15k boards a year).
From my calculations it fits perfectly (average usage 4h/day at 800cph), plus some prototypes from time to time.

I like the fact that if later I need more feeders I can get an M70 or even M80 using the same feeder blocks.

I first was considering an MDC PPP but the price difference is not that big when you need comparable features, and Mechatronika has distributors in Germany, Netherlands, etc (I'm in France) so it seems pretty popular in Europe (MDC only has .... MDC and Manncorp in US). There is no French distributor though, so I can get mine directly at the factory with factory price, I could probably even get myself there to pick it up.

I need to decide pretty fast because even if I'd order now I'd get the PnP only in July, and I need to start making boards asap (I'd get back production of an electronic module already in production for more than one year, so volume is very predictable now, and I'm the designer of it so I know it quite good).

I'd need as much info and feedback about the M10V and Mechatronika.

Thomas.
