Pogo pin insertion tool
I'm considering using pogo pins for a project, and heard that there is some kind of tool that can be used to help insert pogo pins into holes. Does anyone know where I might find such a tool, or what it could be called specifically?

Re: Pogo pin insertion tool
The closest thing I know about is an insertion tool for sockets that hold pogo pins: http://www.ectinfo.com/file/Docs/Insert ... ctions.pdf
The idea is that you press a cylinder into a hole and then slide/solder the pogo pin into that. The sockets are closed at one end, so a pin inserted into one will stand a known distance above the surface.
If you want something to help press the pins themselves, hot-melt a couple scraps of BANNED or rubber gasket material inside a pair of pliers. That will give you a set of soft jaws that can grip the pin without crushing it.
