Affordable Bench Power Supply?

Post by azekiel »

You offer a Rigol DP832 triple output 195W, 30V, 3A power supply for almost $500. Can you recommend a more reasonable unit for beginners?
Maybe a 15V, 2A single output for around $100? Are there any quality devices in that price range? I've read good and bad stories about a lot of them.

I have one of the Mastech units. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I believe they have a 3A model in the <$100 range.

B&K also make good power supplies in the $100 range.
