Hi,
We ordered a Printrbot and some filament from you earlier this week.
We are loving it and after spending a few hours carefully calibrating it, are printing some fantastic quality prints
using the clear PLA included with the bot, as well as some great prints with the NinjaFlex!
When we switched to the White PLA we ordered from you, things were very different.
After several hours and multiple "FirstCube" tests using the same G-Core we cannot get the prints to stick to the bed.
We have tried a range of temperatures, recalibrating the Z, adjusting speeds, etc and the results are consistently bad with poor adhesion.
We could be crazy, but its almost like the material is actually ABS...
1) Compared to very light odour from the clear material included with the Printrbot, the white filament odour is strong and acrid,
like cutting an ABS pipe.
2) It has the characteristic base curling of printing ABS without a heated bed.
In the picture below of the 3 cubes, the left is with the clear PLA included with the bot, the two on the right are attempts with the white material.
I have also included pics of the packaging and the spool.
If this is indeed PLA, we would love your tips on how to print this material. We have made several perfect prints with both the clear PLA, and the NinjaFlex (without the guide!) and could not get a single print to work with the white filament. Otherwise would it be possible to exchange it for another spool?
Thanks again, we love Adafruit :)

Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread. The vendor mixed up some spools and we will get you a replacement.
