SS-02 Solder Sucker tubing

Post by geckopj »

Does anyone know where I can buy replacement silicone tubing for the SS-02 Solder Sucker?

I lost the little replacement it came with. I've tried finding similar tubing (2mm ID x 1mm wall) and haven't found anything available in the US.

Thanks for any help!

The diameter is not super-critical. 3/32 ID x 1/32 or 1/16 wall silicone tubing is available by the foot from suppliers like McMaster Carr or US Plastics.

Thanks for your reply!!

Would something like this work?

The US Plastics site does sell by the foot, but it has to be a minimum of 10 ft plus 17$ for just shipping. Didn't see anything comparable on the McMaster-Carr site either.

Thanks!

That should do it.

That's good to know. I usually by 50-100 ft at a time, so I wasn't aware of the minimum.
