Part-Management inventory software

Hello,

I was planning to make use of a management software for my parts. For this I did look around, in particular to open source applications on the market. Unfortunately I did not really find anything usefull.

Do you have any suggestions on electronics component and inventory systems?

What I found so far is PartKeepr which unfortunately is missing order management.

If you could tell us what you need in a system it would help us narrow our search and not give you options that do not fit your needs.

Thank you very much for your answer. Some of the needs I would be looking for are:

• Managing parts
  Searching parts
  Adding comments, datasheets to parts
  Managing orders (mark for consideration part on next order)
  Evtl. being able to add Barcodes and print labels
