Pixel Qi 10" Display with Controller- 1024x600 HDMI/VGA/NTSC/PAL

Post by Wessix »

Hi i have a question on the Pixel Qi 10" Display with Controller- 1024x600 HDMI/VGA/NTSC/PAL ,
you say that the 1024x600 is not nativly supported by the raspian system. Have you read this: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 29&t=24679 and tested.
Perhaps you could make it working (could be a + to all who want to use it with raspberry pi) and send the settings used with the product or make it available on your site. I would have bought one if it was full usable, but "black borders" is no option in our time.
With the Set you offer for 299$ is anything else needed to use it with rraspberry pim and if so what?.

Thx for your help.

I'll ask if somebody here can try the 1024x600 HDMI configuration.

Meanwhile, the screen comes with everything you should need to run it on a Raspberry Pi.

Great! Thx for your invaestigations. Whats the best option if i want to buy this from Germany. I see no resellers tab for this Product. I read that there is an issue with switching the modes. would it be possible to add a suitable switch button or something similar to an order so i can try my best to get an "change mode button" outside of the case.

Unfortunately, we don't have any resellers for this item in Germany.

We'll look into adding a mode switch to the kit. Beyond, that I don't have any suggestions for what kind of switch you might use.

Pixel Qi 10" Display with Controller

Hi, could you please tell me, is the controller that comes with the Pixel Qi display, also useable for different resolutions, eg. 1280 x 800 , assuming that it has the same LVDS connector?

Second question, do you sell the display controller separately?

I'll have to ask about the resolution.
We don't offer the display controller separately.

The controller is set for 1024x600 and there's no way we know of to change the resolution

I was wandering if this product's controller could be purchased separately through another distributor. I was hoping to make use of laptop screens that I have lying around. I don't really need that extra screen
