Hi,
A science project needs:
1. 5V stepper Motor and furans 180 degree servo motor
2. Stepper Motor Driver
3. LCD shield display
4. Arduino board
5. Breadboard
My question is: Don't they need a power supply to power above set up? What power supply do I need? Please provide a link.

It is hard to say without knowing more about the motors. I'm guessing that since it is a school science project they are probably using relatively small motors.
If that is the case, you can probably power them from the 5v pin on the Arduino. The Arduino can be powered via the USB cable or from a DC power supply like this one: http://www.adafruit.com/products/63

They probably will extend the project to include One 12V Stepper, One 5V Stepper and one Servo Motor. Do I need to step up to a 12 V Power supply?

If they do add a 12v stepper, you will probably need to power it separately. It really depends on the motor specs and how they are using them. Both 12v steppers we sell in the store run pretty well on the 9v supply linked in my previous post - as long as you are not looking for maximum torque.
