Support request: RaspberryPi: Network interface dead

Post by klnvknlsfd »

Support request
Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB RAM[ID:998]

The network interface does not work anymore.
I've tried static and dhcp.
Fresh install.
Still no-joy.

All the network lights are illuminated even when the network cable is
removed.

It might be better if you posted here http://forums.adafruit.com/viewforum.php?f=50 and explained what you were doing when it quit working, what you mean by "does not work" and anything you have tried to resolve it. Have you tried a different cable and port on the hub? How are you connecting to the pi?

I'm frustrated about the fact that even though Adafruit has an online store there customer support consist of "post your problem on a forum" approach...

This is where the tech support people reside. If you don't post here how do you expect them to help you?

I did follow your advice and tried to contact "customer service" in viewforum.php?f=50.
I've posted in two different forums and I've still not seen any support.

I guess this crowd source approach to customer service might be cheaper, but I don't like it...
