BeagleBone Black or 2 in automotive environment - power

Post by skypuppy »

How do you guys suggest I power two BBB's and other sensor stuff in an automotive environment? Voltages, of course, are stated at 12VDC but are actually from 11VDC (low battery, engine not on) to 14.5VDC from a good alternator. Overvoltage protection is highly desirable.

Thanks.
