Re: bluefruit???
I have bypassed the breadboard and now when the red led on the module flashes fast, pin 13 on the UNO flashes and then the rx blue led on the module flashes. There is no blue flash on the tx side of the module. When it worked properly, both blue leds flashed in sequence.

Try pressing the reset button just before the upload starts

Re: bluefruit???
Which reset button, on the module or UNO?
I am now getting more consistent uploads for some reason without using any reset buttons. Maybe one out of three or four upload attempts.
How can I get it to work on all attempts?

I don't know. It's not unusual to have it miss now and then.songlight wrote:How can I get it to work on all attempts?

Thanks for your help.
Any other suggestions which might help to improve the consistency of the Bluefruit blue tooth? Is the other BT you offer anymore reliable?

Nope. I don't get 100% success out of it either. It's just the way it is.
