Two Small Arcade Joystick both broken

Good day, the one wont go left, replacement wont go down. I replaced wires to my Rasbpi and still dont work.

Can you check the switches underneath? do they go 'snap' when the joystick is moved?

Is this a 'Rev 1' Raspberry Pi? Easy to spot, they have no mounting holes.

Yes, they snap, but going down it is a different sound then the other three positions, if that makes any sense.

Yes has holes in the board for mounting. It is a RaspBerry pi B+

ok we've found that we got some bad joysticks and yesterday we started going thru our stock. we can get you replacements! email support@adafruit and ask for "TESTED JOYSTICKS from phil" so we can get you known good ones! :)
