Good morning,
I ordered a small arcade joystick [ID: 480] a few weeks back, and as I'm trying to test everything to get my project working, I have come to the conclusion that there's a problem with the joystick.
I'm using a raspberry Pi B+ rev 1.2, and I managed to get up, down and right working, but left just won't work. I tried to remap it to a different GPIO pin (and changed the retrogame device driver), changed the wire, etc, nothing works.
Once I had the right side working, I also tried inverting the two wires (right and left), and the problem kept happening with the joystick's left control.
The control does click when I move the joystick left, it just won't send any signal to my raspberry Pi.
Thanks for the help!

Sounds like a defect in the left microswitch. Please contact [email protected] with a link to this thread for a replacement.Once I had the right side working, I also tried inverting the two wires (right and left), and the problem kept happening with the joystick's left control.
