ble enabled trinket, single AA powered trinket

Post by glennalgie »

Can you discuss and illustrate how one can add BLE to a trinket? This leads to a question: will adafruit soon offer an integrated bletrinket, I will take a dozen to start??? Also what is minimum add on hardware config to power trinket from single AA battery?

The trinket does not have enough memory space for the BLE library.

You can't power a trinket from a single AA.

Bummer, its a big opportunity to differentiate. My program and business case fits nicely in trinket dont need a full duino overhead.

Thats not the answer i was looking for. I recall the adafruit founder was famous for a stepup voltage regulator design.

That does not negate the fact that you can't run a Trinket from a 1.5v source. If you want to add a stepup circuit you can run a Trinket from a stepup device powered by a 1.5v source though.
