Board is used with the Adafruit Qualia 9.7" DisplayPort Monitor kit.
I have noticed an quite audible amount of high pitched noise from the driver board when ON and in operation.
Have used both 9V and 12V power adapter to elimante noise from power source.
Is this normal and/or expected?
Will using a DC power source reduce noise?
As one will need to site close to screen because of resolution it is bothersome.

yeah that's the LED boost converter. boost converters often make a slight sound. you can cover the inductors with foam or other noise dampening material. usually monitors are in a case, so you dont hear it :)

maybe put some sort of epoxy on it to stop the inductors vibrating?
