I've just noticed a small flaw with your two LCD displays with buit in micro SD card reader slots (and probably the stand alone SD card breakout board). The card will be nearly flush with the edge of the board when inserted. I wanted to put one of these boards into a small plastic case along with other boards to make a digital music player. I would cut a slot into the side of the case to allow changing the SD card, but it appears that I can't get the board close enough to the side of the case to be able to fully insert a card or remove it (maybe if I use a popstick to push the card in the rest of the way...). If the socket would overhang the edge of the board by about .1" it would be possible to have the socket right up against the wall of the case and maybe even project part ways into an opening in the wall. I think that these cards are usually accessed in most devices via a removable panel in the back or wall of the device and not a slot.
