Hello Ada and everyone else!
I recently bought a strand from you to make a display, i will cut the strand in lengths of 15 pixels each and then put them on top of eachother.
When i cut the first and second i noticed that the strand is jointed each 15 pixels. This turned out to give me problems since the joint is soldered i had problems cutting it perfectly.
You have also put a little piece of strip under the joint to hold it together. When unsoldering this the GND buss and the DIN got jointed with a small piece of soldering which made me cut of that pixel.
I just have a question.
Are all the strands like this or is it just mine? And can i get a new one or can you replace me for this in some way?
Thank you in advance!
//Kevin

Re: Not satisfied with neopixel strand
All our LED strips are manufactured in half-meter lengths, then the segments are soldered together to make a longer strip. That's how they come to us from the manufacturer, and the construction is mentioned in our NeoPixel Uberguide: http://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-neopixel-uberguide
We don't have continuous lengths longer than half a meter, so replacement strips would be made exactly the same way. We can offer a refund and return shipping if you'd like.
