Urgent Help for 32x32 RGB LED Panels with LED Video Wall Con

Post by th_masquerade »

As stated in the subject, I need assistance regarding doing a project with 32x32 RGB LED Panels (https://www.adafruit.com/products/607) and I'm using it together with LED Video Wall Controller Set/Programmed for Adafruit LED Panels (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1453) which were bought on Thursday 27 February, 2014.

This is the tutorial, DIY LED Video Wall (https://learn.adafruit.com/downloads/pd ... o-wall.pdf) that we tried to follow.

Below is the attached photos of the boards we're using.

We have tried to use the LED Video Wall Controller Set together with the 32x32 RGB LED Matrix Panel to help us in our school project. However our attempts are unsuccessful despite following the Adafruit DIY LED Video Wall tutorial. We could not even light up the LED Panel at all. We have tried to find solutions regarding this issue online and at Adafruit website and found nothing wrong with the software portion and settings. Instead, the problem lies with one of the components itself. We experience an issue of being unable to receive data from the Sender board hence we are not able to successfully power up the LED Panel to display something. The Sender board is able to to obtain data from our computer but it is then lost when it is being sent over to the Receiver board. We have checked our Ethernet cable to be working correctly and believe that that might be some fault in the Receiver board. Therefore, we would like to ask for your assistance in helping us troubleshoot this problem by giving us feedback.

A prompt reply is strongly appreciated as a project we are working on relies on the faulty product. Thank you.
