Hi,
I create a program with arduino to monitor home current consumption and plot it on TFT display.
The TFT is controlled by arduino SPI.
When I plug power, 99% cases I have total white screen, and 1% cases the TFT works fine. So I have to switch on off the plug 100 times until the display works.
I tried to connect TFT reset pin together with arduino one, or I tried to keep it always to Vdd, or I tried to connect TFT reset to a dedicated arduino digital pin. No changes
Is it the case to try to control the display without SPI?
did this problem already happen?
Thanks,
Marco

Re: problem with 1.8" TFT LCD display
I don't think this is a problem with the reset line. I think you have a loose connection.
Check your soldering and your connections.
Also, try loading one of the example sketches which come with the Adafruit_ST7735 library. It may be that there's some conflict between the TFT and another part of your code.
