https://learn.adafruit.com/32x16-32x32-rgb-led-matrix/ as they were on Sept , but made some adjustments on the number of connections as the Light Blue bean did not have as many ports (Light Blue bean only had 8). We attached R1, CLK, OE, LAT, A, B, C, D in the 8 ports, and made everything else ground. We have provided the right power, 5 V with 2A, and still have not been able to light up one LED.
The panel we have did not have any markings as shown in the pictures online, so we have just assumed that the pins are laid out exactly at those marked in them. I am attaching the picture of the panel we have (This is a single header panel right?).
Also attached is an image of the light blue bean with the attached wires (all of them are green as we did not have colored wires, so we marked them by other means, but we know which ones we attached (R1, CLK, OE, LAT, A, B, C, D) as shown in the directions. Also, I am assuming I only need to attach on one of the connectors, not both right?
Any help to get this panel to work will be highly appreciated. We initially were working on a one day competition project, but that did not work. We however still would like this panel to light up and work for the project. We are using the Light blue bean to ensure we can control the panel with bluetooth.
All help will be highly appreciated.
Hi There, I bought the Small 32x32 RGB LED matrix panel[ID:607] on Sept 26 for a project to use with the Light Blue bean. We followed most of the instructions on your page: The Small 32X32 RGB LED matrix panel is not lighting up

One of the headers is an input the other is an output. Make sure you are connected to the input header. This should be the one with the arrow pointing towards the middle of the board. The output header has the arrow pointing to the edge of the board.
