Hello,
On the 144/M Better Pixel page power consumption is listed as: -35 Watts max (~7 Amps @ 5V) per meter
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1506
But, on the 60/M Better Pixel page power consumption is listed as: 18 Watts max (~3.5 Amps @ 5V) per meter
https://www.adafruit.com/products/1461
Why is the difference between the two strips not 2-to-1?
Thanks.

Re: Power usage for 60/M and 144/M
The standard "worst case" value fo an LED is 20ma. 3 LEDs per pixel is 60ma times the number of pixels is the per meter "worst case" but nobody keeps all the LEDs on full brightness all the time so the usage values will be less and sometimes much less. There is no average power usage only estimates.

Re: Power usage for 60/M and 144/M
Sorry I should have asked why is the max power a 2 to 1 ratio when the the 144/M strips have more then twice the number of LEDs of the 60/M? I would expect the 144/M to be 8.6 Amps, 43 watts @ 5V. I do understand this is worse case scenario usage, but I need to figure that into my project.

Re: Power usage for 60/M and 144/M
Based on the 60ma per pixel the max consumption should be: 8.6 Amps, 43 watts @ 5V, does this mean the product page is incorrect?
