I can't find anywhere that describes whether or not something has to be done to the "other end" of the EL wire. I've got what needs to be done to the end attached to the inverter... but if the "other end" is cut, what do we do with it? Can we just put some heat-shrink over it? Or is there some "special prep" that needs to be done?
It comes with a little clear cap on it... but if we remove that (by cutting the wire, accidentally, or in order to feed the wire through a small hole")... what do we do?
Thanks!
Ray

Re: El Wire: the "other end"
The wire will work fine with the bare cut end. But if you touch it while in operation you can get a mild shock. A little heat-shrink, or a dip in silicone or epoxy will seal it.
