So as far as I can tell it wasn't DOA - the board was detected when I first plugged it in. But I've soldered on a 8x2 breakout, plugged it into my strip array, and now it seems dead. No LED activity, not detected by the PC over USB etc... I've tried alternate known-good USB cables, and different PCs but nada.
Any ideas what I might have done (if only so I can avoid doing it to any replacements that I might have to purchase if this one isn't recoverable somehow)? The board itself looks physically fine. I read a post by Micah about potentially re-flashing the firmware, but that assumes the board is at least showing up over USB (as I understand it).

Re: Did I kill my FadeCandy?
Could you post clear, detailed pictures of both sides of your board showing any soldering you have done and the connections to it?
