Hi I purchased the Raspberry Pi B+ and Capacitive Touch Screen but when I connect it nothing happens. I just get a white screen. Can someone help me I'm new to this platform.
I was trying to build the 'PIPHONE - Raspberry Pi Based Cell Phone. I downloaded and followed all the instructions but no luck.
At this point I just want the screen to work with the pi
Thanks,
Joe

Joe, have you followed these steps and when you say nothing happens just what do you mean? How are you powering the pi?

Re: Raspberry Pi and Touch Screen
I also have just received this screen and a Pi B+ today.
I followed the steps for assembly and installation. The installation goes through smoothly and I get the exact same thing as the steps, but after reboot, I still only get a white screen.

Re: Raspberry Pi and Touch Screen
In a terminal window on the pi type sudo dmesg > dmesg.txt and then post dmesg.txt here.

Re: Raspberry Pi and Touch Screen
Hi Franklin, I power the PI with a power adapter. I also connected the Pi to an external monitor with a HDMI cable. The PI did boot and I was able to control the mouse with capacitive screen attached. But with no display on it.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Raspberry Pi and Touch Screen
Can anyone confirm this works with B+?
I bought this and have not been able to get it working.
What should I do?
Is it broken? Should I get it replaced? How do I do that?
