Hello, I've been using Autocad 123D to produce a diagram which I will be having printed to mount various neopixel rings on, I would like to get this as correct as possible and include hole's at the correct positions to line up with the rings and allow connection to the Data In, Data Out, VCC and GND positions.
Are they're any templates which are available that I could import for the various NeoPixel products, I'm using 3 Neopixel rings, 24, 16 and 12 and also a Jewel ?
Thank you

The EAGLE files may be the closest thing to what you need.

Are they available to download?
[edit] found this https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-NeoPixel-Ring
Is there something similar for the jewel?

Thank you, would these schematics include whole positions?

Re: Templates / Diagrams / Neopixel information
The Eagle files are the CAD files we use to actually manufacture the boards, so all the information is there.

Yeah, both the schematic and the board layout are available in the .sch and .brd files, respectively. Be careful to get the latest versions of the designs - earlier version of the -16 and -24 rings don't have the doubled power and ground holes.

David makes a great point: always compare the .sch and .brd files to the actual board you have, to make sure you have matching versions of both.

Re: Templates / Diagrams / Neopixel information
Are these the correct files:

[edit] hmmmm....actually the eagle files aren't that useful, I tried exporting to DXF but the Autocard 123D doesn't support an import for DXF, which is a bit odd, since Autodesk created the DXF file format.
So back to the original question, is there a way to get the layout including whole positions into a package that can be used for generating models for a 3D printer?

Are you importing into an empty file?

DXF is a 2D file format, Autocad 123D is a 3D package, as far as I can tell there is no DXF import facility.

Perhaps importing DXF of STL formats is on the way?

You may be able to use Blender? I'm not sure, I have zero familiarity with 3D software.
