Hello
I have ordered 2 x 2.8" TFT LCD with Cap Touch Breakout Board w/MicroSD Socket[ID:2090] at 05.Feb. My Ordernumber is 699146-9050340820. As I get them I have tested them like it's discripted on the offical Webside( https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-2-d ... reakout-v2 ). So one Display was running without any problems. The Second one have a loose connection. So when I press a little with my finger on the upper edge it works. Otherwise it does not. Now I would like to change the Display with the loose connection.
Thanks for a fast reply
Cedric

Could you post clear, detailed pictures of both sides of your board showing any soldering you have done and the connections to it?

some pictures are in the attachment. But I'm pretty sure it have a loose connection at the ribbon cable which connects the displaycontroler to the display. Also the second one works without a problem and one works only if it be pressed a little down so I assume the ribbon cable have contact.

Make sure the 'ears' on the flat flex cable connector are pushed all the way in.

Re: Return defect TFT LCD
Probably you have to know that I'm in my senior year as electro engineer. So I already know what the issiue is with the Display. But I cant repair it myself because it is under the Display. So I don not want to risk any dammage with taking the Display away from the board. The loose connection is between display and board.
But I have to know where I have to send the display so I get a new one.
