LG LP097QX1 - FLICKER PROBLEM

Post by alezarate »

We receive the screen, but our panel seems to have a occasional flicker issue, it is very brief but annoying.

We change resolutions, cables, computers, power supplies, but showed the same problem.

Help please, Greetings

Hi Adafruit,

the display is shabby. It has signs of wear and even has fingerprints below the protective film.

Nor it has labels or serial number.

I enclose a video where two flashes are seen, there is also a problem at the bottom of the screen.

The connection with the card no problem.

The packaging of the parcel was perfect with no signs of abuse.

regards

Hi,

we use the following cable:

https://www.adafruit.com/products/1698

and it did not work properly.

So we decided to disassemble one of our iPads !, withdraw the original panel and install the adafruit panel, the panel presented the same strip on the bottom edge.

Furthermore we installed the (original ipad) panel in the (Qualia Bare Driver) card and presented the problems of blinking.

our conclusion is that the panel is damaged and the board has flicker.

What can we do?,

regards.

I received my Qualia Kit today and after assembling it and using all the default connectors that shipped with it, I too am having a flickering/fuzzy issue. When connected to both my Macbook and a friends thunderbolt pc, the screen will come on for a few moments then slowly become a rainbow of fuzziness before losing image all together. Both of the computers still recognized it as connected and the backlight still functioned but there was no video. We tried various cables and had the same out come with all of them. How would I go about seeking a replacement?

I would like to add that we have already tried reseating the ribbon cable into the zif and it had no affect same behavior both before and after.
