Dotstar on Raspberry pi 2

Post by splaticus6 »

I bought a strip of Dotstar LEDs and got them up and running on an Arduino not too long ago - but am having a problem using the equivalent Dotstar library on a raspberry pi 2. Has anyone been able to successfully make this work - attempting to recompile the library (originally intended for Raspberry Pi) is not going so swell. Apart from that, the python script appears to run fine, but clearly no signal is being passed over the data / clock pins. Any thoughts - or is more information needed? Thanks!

hiya, screenshots would help, also do you have an oscilloscope/logic analyzer you are using to see the signal coming out of the pins?
