Snap for Arduino

Post by theheben »

Will Snap (BYOB) or Scratch 4 Arduino produce code that can be uploaded into the Arduino IDE. I want to program a robot to run a maze using a block type program, without being connected to a USB port. The cost must be low so I want to avoid wifi. This activity is for eighth graders. I see them for one class a week for 15 classes.

Byob will not upload sketches to arduino as far as I've seen. But, there is a new beta out that will let you do exactly that type of thing.

Snap4arduino is pretty cool and versatile.
