Raspberry Pi as an Access Point

Post by martinus »

Greetings!

I have read tutorial about raspberry pi as an access point and other articles that related to the topic.
I read that Raspbian OS is installed in the SD Card 4GB or more capasity, why should we use the SD Card ?
Is that not enough the memory of raspberry to be installed the Raspbian OS into it?

thank you

The Raspberry Pi has no non-volatile storage available. The only place you can load Raspbian is onto an SD card.
